• HR Operations Specialist for Aalborg Portland Nordic & Baltic

The Nordic & Baltic Region has been part of the Cementir Group since 2004, a global cement producer. Cementir is a multinational building materials group operating in 18 countries and is a global leader in the production and supply of grey and white cement, aggregates, ready-mixed concrete, and value-added building solutions, headquartered in Rome, Italy. The Region oversees Cementir Group's activities in the Nordic and Baltic region, which includes Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, France, Belgium, and Poland, and plays a vital role in the success and growth of the Cementir Group.

The Nordic & Baltic Region is made up of separate business units, Aalborg Portland, Unicon Denmark and Unicon Norway, and AB Sydsten in Sweden, operating in cement production, ready mixed concrete and aggregates.

The Nordic & Baltic Region employs a total of 1,100 employees - including 770 in Denmark and accounts for 46% of Cementir Group’s revenue.

Aalborg Portland Nordic & Baltic is looking for an engaged and structured HR Operations Specialist with a strong passion for accurate master data, employment administration, payroll support, and HR reporting.

You will report to the HR Operations Manager and become a key contributor to the daily HR operations, ensuring that our employee data and HR processes are accurate, timely, and fully compliant.

As an HR Operations Specialist, your responsibilities will include, among others:

  • HR Master Data and Employee Administration: Responsibility for creating, maintaining, and quality-assuring employee data in HR systems throughout the entire employee lifecycle (hire, changes, and termination)
  • HR Reporting and Data Quality: Preparing and maintaining HR reports and KPIs, and ensuring high data quality for use by management, HR, and other stakeholders, in close cooperation with our HR Controller.
  • Payroll Support: Close collaboration with the payroll function and/or external payroll providers, including quality assurance of payroll data, submission of changes, and handling payroll-related inquiries from employees and managers.
  • Daily Support and Ad Hoc Tasks: Responding to inquiries from employees, managers, and other stakeholders, as well as handling ad hoc tasks within HR Operations. Occasionally, you will be supporting in drafting, updating, and administering employment documents - always with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance with legislation, and internal policies.

Your Profile
We imagine that you hold a BSc or MSc degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.

In addition, the ideal candidate has 2–3 years of experience within HR Operations and HR administration, preferably gained in a larger or international organization. You bring solid hands-on experience with HR master data, employment contracts, and payroll-related processes, and you are comfortable working with HR, payroll, and time management systems, including HR reporting.

A solid understanding of employment law, collective agreements, and GDPR is essential for the role. Furthermore, a basic financial understanding - including debit and credit principles, particularly in relation to payroll postings and reconciliations - is considered relevant and will support success in the position.
